A product lineup is not simply a list of names. On site, it becomes the standard for deciding what kind of film is needed, how far moisture and condensation should be supported, and how color matching and upkeep should be considered.
제품 라인업은 단순히 이름을 나열하는 게 아니에요. 현장에서는 어떤 도막이 필요한지, 습기와 결로를 어디까지 보완할지, 색 맞춤과 유지관리를 어떻게 볼지 정하는 기준이 됩니다.
Site Standard_현장 기준
The first standard is the wall condition rather than the brand name. Even with the same domestic paint, the result changes depending on whether the substrate is dry gypsum board, old wallpaper, a putty-finished wall, a balcony-side wall, or a room that shares an exterior wall.
첫 기준은 브랜드 이름보다 벽 상태입니다. 같은 국내 페인트라도 바탕이 마른 석고보드인지, 오래된 도배 위인지, 퍼티 마감 벽인지, 베란다 쪽 벽인지, 외벽을 낀 방인지에 따라 결과가 달라져요.
In Korean apartments, the moisture standard is especially easy to misunderstand. A wall that looked fine in summer can show condensation in winter when the surface temperature drops, especially around corners, window-side walls, and built-in closet areas.
한국 아파트에서는 습기 기준이 특히 헷갈립니다. 여름에는 멀쩡해 보였던 벽도 겨울에 표면 온도가 내려가면 모서리, 창가 쪽 벽, 붙박이장 주변에서 결로가 보일 수 있거든요. 😅

So on site, we first check whether the issue is related to the finish, ventilation, or insulation. Functional paint can support the surface environment, but it cannot replace insulation or daily ventilation habits.
그래서 현장에서는 이 문제가 마감 문제인지, 환기 문제인지, 단열과 연결된 문제인지 먼저 봅니다. 기능성 페인트는 표면 환경을 보완하는 역할을 하지만 단열과 생활 환기를 대신하진 못합니다.
Samhwa Products_삼화 제품
Samhwa Paint I-Saenggak Condensation Tex is an interior water-based product for condensation support. It is a candidate line for spaces with surface moisture concerns, such as balcony-side walls in Korean apartments or rooms that share exterior walls. However, it is not suitable over gypsum or wallpaper that is already wet and crumbling, and the decision should be made after the substrate has dried.
삼화페인트(Samhwa) 아이생각 결로텍스는 내부 결로 보완 수성 제품입니다. 국내 아파트 베란다 쪽 벽이나 외벽을 낀 방처럼 표면 습기 고민이 있는 공간에서 후보가 되는 라인이에요. 다만 이미 젖어서 부스러지는 석고나 벽지 위에는 맞지 않고, 바탕이 마른 뒤에 판단해야 합니다.
Samhwa Paint I-Lux Condensation Stop Diatomite is an interior water-based condensation-support product with a diatomite character that holds and releases moisture. Because it is a domestic functional line developed for condensation and mold support, I see it as relatively accessible in terms of site supply. However, on walls with severe condensation, the film may weaken, or after drying it may feel powdery to the touch.
삼화페인트(Samhwa) 아이럭스 결로스탑 규조토는 규조토 성격으로 습기를 머금었다가 내보내는 내부 결로 보완 수성 제품입니다. 결로와 곰팡이 보완 목적으로 나온 국내 기능성 라인이라 현장 수급 면에서 접근이 쉬운 편으로 봅니다. 대신 결로가 심한 벽에서는 도막이 약해지거나 마른 뒤 손에 가루가 묻는 느낌이 있을 수 있어요.
The advantage of these products does not mean they solve every moisture issue at once. Their value is that, under Korean apartment conditions, they make it easier to consider condensation support, material supply, water-based interior workability, and future maintenance standards together.
이 제품들의 장점은 모든 습기 문제를 한 번에 해결한다는 뜻이 아닙니다. 국내 아파트 조건에서 결로 보완, 자재 수급, 수성 내부 작업성, 이후 관리 기준을 함께 보기 좋다는 데 의미가 있어요.

Benjamin Moore Regal Select Kitchen & Bath is a premium water-based finish line used in humid indoor areas such as kitchens and bathrooms. It has advantages when color, finish quality, and cleanability are important, but it is not a Korean-style condensation-support diatomite paint.
벤자민무어(Benjamin Moore) 리갈 셀렉트 키친 앤 배스(Regal Select Kitchen & Bath)는 주방과 욕실처럼 습한 실내에 쓰는 고급 수성 마감 라인입니다. 색감, 마감, 세척성을 중요하게 볼 때 장점이 있지만 한국식 결로 보완 규조토 도료는 아니에요.
Dunn-Edwards EVERSHIELD is a durable water-based finish that becomes a candidate for spaces where abrasion resistance and cleanability are considered. You can expect finishing strength, but because it is not a condensation-only line, the cause of moisture still needs to be checked together with ventilation and insulation standards.
던에드워드(Dunn-Edwards) 에버실드(EVERSHIELD)는 내구성 좋은 수성 마감으로 마모와 세척성을 보는 공간에서 후보가 됩니다. 마감 강도를 기대할 수 있지만 결로 전용 라인은 아니기 때문에 습기 원인은 환기와 단열 기준으로 같이 봐야 합니다.
Imported paints are attractive in color expression and finish feel, while domestic brands such as Samhwa Paint, NOROO Paint, KCC Paint, and Chokwang Paint have advantages when discussing supply, tinting schedules, site response, and aftercare.
삼화페인트(Samhwa), 노루페인트(NOROO), KCC페인트(KCC Paint), and 조광페인트(Chokwang Paint) are often easier to discuss in terms of supply, tinting schedule, site response, and follow-up. 수입 페인트는 색 표현과 마감감에서 매력이 있고, 삼화페인트(Samhwa), 노루페인트(NOROO), KCC페인트(KCC Paint), 조광페인트(Chokwang Paint) 같은 국내 브랜드는 수급, 조색 일정, 현장 대응, 사후 관리 이야기를 풀기 좋은 장점이 있습니다.

Moisture Check_습도 점검
Before using a condensation-support paint, the wall has to be dry. Mold should be cleaned off and dried, cracks should be filled, and the decision on whether to use a primer or sealer should follow the condition of the substrate and the product specification. Rather than applying one thick coat at once, it is more stable to build up the functional topcoat in several thin layers.
결로 보완 도료를 쓰기 전에는 벽이 마른 상태여야 합니다. 곰팡이는 닦고 말려야 하고, 갈라진 곳은 메운 뒤 바탕 상태와 제품 시방에 맞춰 하도 여부를 봐야 해요. 한 번에 두껍게 올리는 방식보다는 기능성 상도를 얇게 나누어 올리는 쪽이 안정적입니다.

A dehumidifier can help lower indoor humidity before and after painting. The
위닉스(Winix) 뽀송 제습기는 실내 제습 장비로 볼 수 있지만, 제습기를 함께 쓴다고 해서 페인트가 단열재가 되는 것은 아닙니다. 제습기는 칠 전후 실내 습도를 낮추는 데 도움이 됩니다.
This is where functional paint is most often misunderstood. Condensation-support paint is meant to reduce discomfort at the finished surface; it is not a material that structurally changes a wall that stays wet continuously. If the wall remains wet, the film can weaken and the same staining can return.
기능성 페인트에서 가장 많이 오해하는 부분이 여기입니다. 결로 보완 도료는 마감 표면의 불편을 줄이는 쪽이지, 계속 젖는 벽을 구조적으로 바꾸는 재료는 아니거든요.
Korean Site Choice_한국 현장 선택
When choosing a Samhwa line on site, we look at material supply, color matching, schedule, substrate condition, and how the space will be used after painting. Even if the product name is familiar, it cannot be moved up in the sequence for a wall that must be dried first, a damaged wall, or a wall that needs humidity control.
현장에서 삼화 라인을 고를 때는 자재 수급, 색 맞춤, 일정, 바탕 상태, 칠한 뒤 공간 사용 방식을 같이 봅니다. 이름이 익숙한 제품이라도 먼저 말려야 하는 벽, 손상된 벽, 습도 관리가 필요한 벽에는 순서를 앞당겨 고를 수 없어요.
